We bought a Honeywell programmable digital thermostat last Decmeber, and it was fine until yesterday. We have the A/C running and it was turning the fan on & off on & off every few seconds. So we changed the batteries and cleaned the inside. It

Could be a defect in the thermostat but before you make that assumption, check the manual and make sure you have it set properly. I have another brand of digital thermostat in my house and I recall that some were just for heat while some were for heat
