I need a new thermostat. How to choose one?

The old one, a Honeywell programmable model CT3200, was apparently discontinued. A website I looked at recommended a Honeywell 230B 5-2 day as a replacement, but then another website I saw told about all the different thermostats there are and how they are not all interchangeable. How do I know if the Honeywell 230B 5-2 day is what I need? I tried looking at Honeywell's website, but they don't mention anything about the CT3200 model. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

The 230b is the perfect replacement for your current t-stat.
