I spent the morning at home and the afternoon with Sev and Nrasser most of it. I took the third brake light off the Dragon in anticipation of replacing the Weasel's 3rd brake light with the Dragon's even though the Dragon's was red. Sev and I were going to sand down the red cover and repaint it black, but Nrasser was home for lunch and said he could just fix the black one. The problem with it was that some dumbass former owner had replaced the 3rd brake light bulb and when screwing the cover back on the light, tightened the screws way too hard, and broke the screw captives off in the plastic housing. Nrasser was able to fix them using plasti-pair, but the two screws that were holding it on had to be cut off to get the light housing off. I used the two good screws from the Dragon, but I'll have to buy some new screws to put the light back on the Dragon. This is an industrial welder from the 1950s that Nrasser acquired recently and has been looking into getting working again. This thing was designed to weld, say, bridges together, things like bulldozers and such, it has a V-4 air cooled engine in the 30-40 hp range which was busted. He managed to take it apart and determine that one of the cylinder heads was cracked, due to some moron former owner pouring oil down the exhaust manifold to get a valve unstuck. He can fix it with some money and parts, and it's worth fixing, but the thing is massively huge. I thought it was some kind of yard appliance or something when I first saw it. Sev and I went to uptown today to get tea at Tea Garden as tradition on Tuesday. Then we walked down the sidewalk to a place called "PC Doodle" which is a computer store we kept passing but never stopped in at. This time we made a point of it, and it turned out to be a more interesting place than it looked on the outside. The owner turned out to be a former friend of Mike, the guy we worked for at Midwest Electronics who was a major asshole, but this guy seemed like he had his act together considering...
